Generlab is our technological center for the development of new solutions and process improvement. Here we transform research, knowledge, and collaboration into advancements and efficiency for generator sets and distributed energy.

Innovation has its own space

Generlab concentrates the accumulated experience over more than two decades of innovation at Genesal Energy. And it does so with a technological center and laboratory that allow us to put into practice our R&D&I model based on obtaining tangible results, advanced technology, and collaboration with entities.

It is the result of a long trajectory

R&D&I has always been very present in our activity, since in 2001 we created the innovation unit and in 2012 we consolidated it as a strategic department with the creation of CETED (Distributed Energy Technological Center).

It is a physical and functional space

Research cannot remain in the realm of ideas, which is why we have a laboratory and prototyping areas to materialize the development of new projects.

It is transversal research and development

Because we promote both product development and the continuous improvement of internal processes, digitalization, and sustainability.

We apply this process over and over in the search for tangible advances for you, for us, and for the entire energy sector. That is why we go far beyond the development of new products.

Development of R&D&I projects

We design and execute technical projects that respond to the major challenges of the sector with new products, emerging technologies, and more efficient and sustainable solutions.

Technical and administrative management of R&D&I

We coordinate the documentary and operational management of projects from start to finish, with a system certified under ISO 56001 that guarantees rigorous and transparent controls.

Implementation of systems and certifications

We support the implementation and maintenance of key management systems such as quality, environment, or safety, and lead the acquisition of new certifications.

Specialized technical training

We promote the training and technical updating of the entire team through our own training center, Genset Academy, and external collaborations.

Public-private collaboration

We facilitate open cooperation with universities and other entities and institutions, which is essential to achieve greater results in innovation, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
