Same generator, different frequencies
Dual-frequency generator sets provide power at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, offering a versatile solution for projects where machinery of both frequencies is used. One of the great advantages of these generator sets is the significant cost savings by reducing the number of generators needed.
Development
The generator is designed according to customer requirements such as:
Different voltages to obtain.
- Frequency of voltage/frequency change.
- Type of application (island, parallel with grid, etc..)
- Special requirements (low temperatures, super-soundproofed, etc..)
These units have different options to adapt to customer requirements:
- Frequency change via selector on control panel.
- Up to 2 additional configurations of alternative voltage/frequency with change via selector.
- Possibility to include manual or motorized disconnectors for changing the power circuit according to the voltage/frequency to be obtained.
- Automatic adjustment of protections according to the configured voltage/frequency.
- Fine voltage adjustment potentiometer on control panel. Possibility of integrating controllers in parallel.)
